Valentine's Day had to be a bummer for the folks flying solo during this holiday? These funny
Mardi Gras photos, mocking just about anything and everything that moves, will certainly bring a smile to your face.
So, if you know anyone feeling blue from this special day for lovers, send them this post full of funny photos that will have them laughing in no time.
Since it's 2012 and the whole world figures the Mayan Prophecy of the End of the World is at hand, well, we have the solution in
Louisiana: party on. Our philosophy? You might as well go out in style 'cause you can't do anything about it anyway.

Men who dress as women is so common during carnival... the dollar bills in the bra are a nice touch.

Then there are the usual suspects: The Mardi Gras Boobies - show-offs :) The latest fashion is to wear body paint to get around the nudity laws.

From the photographer: the bee stinger comes with bullets...
This fellow was a) very drunk, b) couldn't understand or hold the national geographic boarder correctly, and c) asked for a Polaroid image of him and his friend. I obliged and handed it over.
What I found particularly funny is that someone dressed up as a beekeeper found them and there was a face off. Sadly the bees lost on the account that you're to drunk to fly back to the hive.
What were you thinking... but does your wife want to know you - even in this crowd?

The display of raunch and decadence brings out the church signs, most usually telling people how they will go to hell. New Orleans Mardi Gras is not exactly family friendly.
If you prefer a place to take the kids for carnival them come to Baton Rouge (only avoid the Spanish Town parade) and Lafayette. The smaller towns tend to be better parades where you can bring children. New Orleans parades are really more for the adult crowd and tourists.
