Check out some funny demented cereal ads over the decades - and how your mind has been secretly brainwashed to buy their products as adults.
From Denny: Ah, YouTube, an endless source of entertaining and absolutely useless information. Check out what was thrown up on the site in regard to all those crazy cereal ads you grew up on as a kid. These ads really know how to appeal to kids and their need to play with their food. Probably why artists and writers are the last of the adults to give up their cereal addictions...
Kinda makes you wonder how those ad agencies suceeded in brainwashing you to be addicted to those same stupid products today as an adult. I only recently broke my addiction to Cocoa Puffs and Captain Crunch, and oh, so many bowlfuls of that Tony the Tiger Super Sugary Corn Flakes. OK, truth be told, I've been addictive cereal free for years now... but hey! no harm in tripping down Fond Memories Lane...:)

Funny Quirky Strange Cartoons - 5 Nov 2010
Enjoy the cracked minds of some funny cartoonists as they analyze their day - or ours.
From Denny: I've collected some strange cartoons from the past few months with opinions on the political oddities that have been happening - like Tea Party candidates gaining some political clout in the Senate and the House. Cartoonists talk about generational situations like current situations at public schools, retirement activities (if you can label them as such) and society's expectations from their politicians. Quite the mixed bag, often quirky, some downright strange and a bit demented, sure to make you smile.
Oh, those annoying TV shows we wish no one ever produced...
The Mel Gibson drama actually belittled by the WikiLeaks online diarrhea...
Today modern mining techniques include shattering rock underground so you now get contaminated drinking water much to everyone's delight...
Maybe some people should never retire as they just don't know how to prioritize...

Conservatives continue to scream obsenities about how obsence everyone elese is - but them...
This strange governor provided oodles of entertainment for the media this past summer while he battled federal charges and escaped all but one...
Nothing like keeping your pets happy...
Oh, those retirement activities to keep you busy all day...

Oh, how the public school environment has changed from generation to generation...
Art is as art does...
The average voter fed up with negative campaign ads and bad news about the state of things in the world...

Adjusting to the new economic times is one way to look at their situation...
Taking shots at corporate politicians no matter which party they claim to represent...
Greed will bring you to your knees...
Yep!
The American taxpayers own 60 percent of GM and still get jacked around by the company. There should be free warranties!
Politics, politics, politics...
Ticked off American voter on both sides of the political aisle...
Wake up and smell the coffee Democrats vs. the Tea Party screamers - clever cartoon!

Art and Life continue their strange dance through eternity...

And please "welcome" the newest insane members of Congress, especially the newest Tea Party Senators this new session... Politics are about to get even weirder for the next six years unless someone gets smart and recalls these guys. You think there is gridlock now...
Yet another comment on those hypocritical "experts" who seem to have figured out how to bilk the public for their money while not living up to their own advice...
The tough choices for the American voter this midterm season...

Remember the flight attendant to told the rude passenger to shove it and then opened the door (against fed regs) and disappeared down the slide. He was the toast of America for months of everyone who wanted to tell off their bad bossess and walk off their jobs but couldn't. Months later this guy wanted his job back when he realized there were no jobs to be found so easily.
And the Tea Party and Republican crowd who continue to resent Prez Obama's father was born outside of America - worse, he was born in Africa. Guess it's too much for their mean little hearts.
Healthy choices for your diet... Oh, yeah...

Reality bites as your kid does some critical thinking during the Halloween season...

World politics, world decision, world shame...
The over the top parent who lives in a fantasy world all of their own making...

Refusing to do anything positive about immigration earned incumbent politicians the boot out the door from voters this election season. Latinos came out in force and rewarded those trying to help them with the Dream Act legislation and punished those who opposed immigration reform...
Strange life...

Paranoid Republicans and Tea Party who have wasted billions of dollars on a tiny fence that does not begin to cover a huge area and bad technology that doesn't work most of the time...
Oh, yeah, Joe the Plumber, that's some critical thinking on your part - not!
Talk about some really bad voting choices: a Democrat who knew he would lose but chose to continue rather than bow out so his party could get an Independent to vote with them in the Senate - or a Tea Party wingnut. The Tea Party wingnut won. Stupid and bizarre won out to smart and good for Florida and the nation..
To which most voters are shaking their heads and saying, "Want that wingnut as an appetizer?"

A worrisome sign of the economic times...

If only America would get smart and slide out of this destructive lunacy and start a sincere national conversation of how to fix serious problems facing the country...

Democrats feeling the pending doom of the voters' wrath and the midterm shellacking...

If only our country's issues were this small and inconsequential...
