Funny Situational Hunh?! Are You Kidding?! Cartoons - 16 Oct 2010

Check out the latest funny finds from America's cartoonists this week.

Uh... Houston we have a problem.

From Denny: What goes through these twisted minds... Can you imagine Halloween at their house??? :)

And the tech cartoons keep on coming. After all, computers are nothing but high class machinery and the end game of the Industrial Revolution. Humanity goes where no one dares to go: co-dependence. I guess humans are basically social animals and just can't go unplugged in any generation.

Have you heard about some of the most recent news stories about college campuses going unplugged just for 24 hours and they couldn't do it? Your brain really does get re-wired if you are not careful to give it down time in Nature. Sure Nature is much slower - but just think of it as another art medium. Teach your brain to think on a lot of levels and at different speeds. Trust me; it will come in handy at some point in your life. Meanwhile, enjoy these humor goodies!

Prez Obama, Democrats, Trouble With Political Message Cartoons - 11 Sept 2010

Cartoonists lampoon, and downright blast, the Democrats for doing a lousy job of getting out their message.

From Denny: For almost two years now, liberal/progressive bloggers have been fussing with The Obama Team about clarifying their political message - and just plain getting out their message to the American people. The Republicans have done an effective done of redirecting the national conversation away from dealing with national problems in desperate need of solving, like unemployment.

Instead Americans have been focused upon idiot situations like this no name Florida pastor the Republicans stirred up to threaten to burn 200 Korans. Notice how once the Pentagon complained the Republicans were putting soldiers and other traveling Americans overseas in danger as targets for extremists, suddenly Glenn Beck, Sarah Palin and other conservative talk show types shut up. Gee, "Do Ya Think?" their lawyers called them up and warned them they could be tried for hate crimes or other federal goodies by continuing to stir people up to violence?

Nothing like a wake up call to a Democratic President than to see the Future as a one-term President reviled by his own party: Jimmy Carter.
