A Truth Journal: Boston Marathon Bombing: What Latest BS Stories From Growing Number of Suspects?

left, surviving suspect Dzhokhar Tsarnaev and right, dead suspect Tamerlan Tsarnaev

A Truth Journal: Boston Marathon Bombing: What Latest BS Stories From Growing Number of Suspects?: From Denny:  Slow dogged investigation from the FBI, the CIA and the rest of the intelligence community (IC), Homeland Security, the Boston police, along with international groups like America's sudden new BFF:  Russia, have yielded a fuller picture of how these two brothers became radicalized and found it so easy to carry out their vile bombing plan.

A twice wounded Dzhokhar Tsarnaev was captured after a day long manhunt in the city of Boston.  Unable to speak because of a serious gunshot neck wound, he wrote his answers to questions from investigators.  These answers came before getting advised of his rights since there was the exception for public safety.  Tsarnaev tried to convince investigators this bombing was only created by he and his brother - and that no one else was involved or had any knowledge of their plan.  Of course, no self-respecting police officer or investigator would believe such a statement and continued investigating...

The Social Poets: 2012 London Olympics: Olympic Boner, Funny Late Nite Jokes, Colbert, Stewart Videos: From Denny:  The London 2012 Olympics took the world TV watching community by storm in record numbers.

That, and with the global economic meltdown we are all too poor to go out so we holiday indoors with our monster TVs for free, right?  The Olympics have proven to be some exciting stuff, something for everyone.

Of course, our national comics have enjoyed a bit of commentary.  Enjoy the laughs as the Olympics winds down into its last week.

Stephen Colbert and Jon Stewart video clips are sure to make you laugh right off your chair!  The Stewart clip about the rower with the "two mice hugging a banana" is funnier than the photo of the famous Olympic Boner.  All that for just a bronze medal? :)

The Social Poets: New York Times Un-American To Criticize Olympics Athlete Lolo Jones Before Race

The Social Poets: New York Times Un-American To Criticize Olympics Athlete Lolo Jones Before Race: From Denny:  Now we enter the den of The Media Stupid, courtesy of the compromised New York Times. There seems to be a rather nasty bunch of writers over there these days, a sharp detour away from the stable of interesting intellectuals they once sported.

The current group has too many members who are all about plagiarizing letters to the editor (like what happened to me one too many times so I quit reading them years ago, then started up my own pack of blogs as a copyrighted version of letters to the editor.  Hey, it works for me.)

Their other favorite tactic now is ripping an Olympic athlete just days before competition.  How un-American can you get to criticize any athlete representing your country just before competition?

The Social Poets: Check Out This Video: Worlds Fastest Flying Human

The Social Poets: Check Out This Video: Worlds Fastest Flying Human: From Denny: Check out this Norwegian wingsuit flyer/paraglider as he leaps off a high cliff and soars a mile or so over the mountains near a river. He finally pulls his chute open to finish the last glide to land easily on the road where a car is waiting to take him home.

What a rush! He looked like a speeding bullet to the camera crew on the ground as he crested the mountain range. He just zoomed on past them, going maybe well over 130 mph? Turns out he was clocked at 250km/hour - which is 155 mph.

Norwegian Espen Fadnes thought this outdoor activity would be a fun experience for the weekend. He has donned his wingsuit and performed this crazy feat so many times he has earned the dubious honor of World's Fastest Flying Human. In fact, last year he jumped off the Swiss Alps in an international competition, taking home the win.

Dennys Funny Quotes: Funny Mardi Gras Quotes, Who Dat Rocking Saints Songs

Dennys Funny Quotes: Funny Mardi Gras Quotes, Who Dat Rocking Saints Songs - Congrats go to the Packers who won this year's Super Bowl! Let the partying begin!

Here is last year's winner, the New Orleans Saints. What a huge surprise it was to win the Super Bowl, the first for this beaten down team. Get a grin at the partying in the French Quarter and the different rock songs for the team.

The Packers have their Cheesehead song and the Saints have their Who Dat?! song. For my second language friends: Who Dat = Who is that?

Right after Hurricane Katrina, all in a half a million strong flurry, half of New Orleans moved to my town of Baton Rouge, the state's capital, overwhelming us and our resources. We soon adjusted after a few months and assimilated everyone. They still can't drive. :)

All we heard in the grocery stores and the shopping malls was the "Who dat?" phrase. We soon started calling New Orleans people The Who Dats and the name stuck with New Orleans wearing it like a badge of pride. :) Winning the Super Bowl was just what New Orleans needed to make them feel really good. There is still a lot of celebrating going on - but then that's the New Orleans Who Dat Nation!
