Marni's Birthday

Yesterday, the ninth, was my daughter Marni's birthday.  She is now sommen sommen years old and still as pretty as she was as a little girl.  But she was on a plane returning from Chicago and all the snow yesterday, so we didn’t get to celebrate until today.

Her choice of a pace to celebrate her birthday was turned down because we cannot afford to fly the whole family to Dubai.  So, reluctantly she settled on P.F. Chang’s

(Carl, Jarrett, Jordan and Marni)

We gathered outside for a quick photo before entering into the luxurious and tasty establishment.

We nommed on some great Chinese food, and some very rich desert.  But who cares about fat and diabetes…IT WAS GOOD!

One of her gifts was an Owl charm for the Pandora bracelet.  Here she is about to take off her bracelet to add the charm she received.  Marni, Judy and I are alums of Kennesaw State University and the mascot is the Owl.

GO BLACK AND GOLD!!!

(We are also UGA fans...as you can tell by her sweater.)

She had to take off all the charms and rearrange them for balance.  I guess Feng Shui lives in a Chinese Resturant…even for bracelets.

Anyway, I think she enjoyed the day…I know I did.

Now for a nap.

Happy Birthday, Mouse.
